In mid-June another web viewer, Win Bryson, submitted then and now photographs of Cierges which he took on an October 2007 pilgrimage to the site where his 'doughboy' relative fell. Pfc. Vincent Dorris, Co.L, 30th Inf. Rgt., 3d Inf. Div. was KIA by artillery fire on Oct. 8, 1918 in the Bois de Beuge, while awaiting orders for the assault on the 9th.
